It's been a bit crazy here as of late. Hence my absence here and on evil facebook, or email. First we (the kids and I) were very ill. Got over that just in time for Em's Ice Show.

They had dress rehearsal and three shows within the span of three days, so that was a busy busy weekend, but lots of fun. Em loved it so much that it convinced her to continue skating. That was a huge relief for me. Why would I be relieved that my daughter wants to continue something that is costly and could potentially be really draining on our tiny budget? Because it's something she doesn't want to quit. Something that had the power to pull her off the couch. Something that would get her out of the house on a regular basis.
After we recovered from that we bought a new car. Well not new new, but new to us. Hubster has been awesome about fixing the little things on it that needed work. This new auto means we will be able to go visit my family that lives two states away that we haven't seen in two years. I'm hoping to go this fall. So happy!
